Ultimate Secrets of Success

The 5-Step Goal Setting Strategy That Guarantees Success

October 15th, 2007 · 3 Comments

I recommend you read this blog post titled The Real Secrets of Being Successful.

It’s so common sense and so needed today when people are struggling with grasping seemingly esoteric concepts like the law of attraction, to learn how to optimise their brainwaves or debate the utility (or lack thereof) of writing affirmations, doing visualizations, et cetera.

The 5-step process is more a strategy than a technique or tactic. It is what I might call a meta-technique - a technique from which other techniques are born.

Don’t get me wrong - optimising brainwaves, visualization, affirmations and learning to control your emotions while focusing on your end goal, all these are good and well - but most people miss the critical first step - finding the why and the strategy.

The 5 steps are perfect. The only thing I might want to add is step no. 6 - while doing steps 3 through 5, never give up. Keep your focus on your end goal and evolve or revise it if need be.

Especially read also the 5-step process that guarantees failure.

    Hi

I like 5-step very much, especially the ‘adapt to circumstances’.

There have been times when I totally give up on one strategy to favor another, when I can modify it to suit the circumstances.

Thanks for posting the link again.

    I like it a lot.
